Greetings and welcome to my website, my name is Lou Byer and I am a graphic designer and illustrator. I was raised in Muncie, Indiana and graduated from Muncie Central HS and then went on to Ball State where I received a degree in fine art. After college I worked in a variety of jobs as a camera operator and paste-up guy in the printing and reprographics industries, as a designer and photo retoucher, as a sign and display designer and as a free-lance graphics man.
The last few years I have been working for myself creating graphics and awards for racers as well as personalized items for fundraising, home and office. These products you will see on the pages of this site, which I know, you will enjoy and find uses for in your lives.
The illustrations and racecar paintings I do are from a love of sports cars, hot rods and anything that has a motor and goes fast. The logos and graphics are from a fascination with type and graphics and the desire to combine the two to create a symbol that best depicts the company and its business. And finally the specialty printed products are an extension of what I create to give you products and services that will best serve your needs. Whether that may be an award for racing, sales, graduation or some other accomplishment, a fundraising or gift.
